A Kensington man has been convicted of harassing a woman in her twenties, after spending seven months messaging her continuously on social media.

He appeared in City of London Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, December 16, where he pleaded guilty to criminal harassment involving serious alarm / distress.

He was released on bail to appear in the same court on Friday, January 14, 2022.

Kaliszewski was arrested and charged on Friday 22 November with criminal harassment involving serious alarm / distress. He was released on bail.

From Sunday January 26 to Tuesday August 4, 2020, Kaliszewski continuously messaged the victim on social media.

Detective Constable Katie Newton said: “The fact that the victim did not know the accused made this unwanted contact even more sinister and disturbing.

“Women and girls have the right to feel safe online and in public, and should not be subjected to forced contact by men they don’t know or don’t want to talk to.” to hire.

“I hope that the accused’s confession of guilt will give the victim some comfort, at the very least avoid the added pressure of going to trial.”
