In a significant boost to its programming proposition, entertainment company Redbox signed content agreements with providers Lionsgate and Curiosity to adapt its original film and factual roster.
With Lionsgate, Redbox intends to expand its offering by releasing 36 titles per year and distributing titles from the Lionsgate library on its AVOD and FAST streaming services. Lionsgate will manage the distribution of Redbox Entertainment titles on home entertainment windows in addition to subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) licenses for certain titles under the Redbox Entertainment brand.
