Social Media and Marketing Coordinator


The Move For Jenn Foundation is looking for a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Charlotte, NC! This person’s primary roles will be to create daily content for all social media platforms, write monthly blogs/newsletters, and create print materials such as event flyers and annual reports. This person will also work directly with our Google Ads Grant Manager to optimize our website. This role will work closely with the Executive Director and assist the team with events as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, technology or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media and marketing
• Local in or near Charlotte, NC
• Experience creating content for use with social media, email and web platforms
• Experience in creating printed materials such as direct mail and brochures
• Strategic approach to marketing and branding with streamlined execution
• Ability to multi-task on various projects
• Coordinates with news media (TV, radio, newspapers, magazines and online)
• Strong and creative writer with excellent grammar
• Blog writing experience with examples
• Strong communication skills
• Creative planner and outside-the-box thinker
• Works well in a team
• Must be extremely detail oriented
• Experience with website management (Shopify), HTML code and Google Ads is a plus
• A good knowledge of SEO is a plus
• Experience working with non-profit organizations is a plus
• Experience in event planning and marketing is a plus
• Compulsory Covid-19 vaccination
