The actress, Yetunde Bakare, is a person who is generally active on social media. She constantly posts and comments on popular bloggers as well. While some have criticized her for being primarily online, she said it has helped her business.

She said Saturday beats, “Being active on social media has paid off for me. When I decided to start a business, I must have been very active on social media. Even if you have a store, you still have to be active on social networks. We sell on social media to different people all over the world. When they see what we post, they frequent one. Social media is a place where you can showcase your talents and your business, and make money. On social media, I meet people every day and make new friends and clients. I was a very calm person. But, by the time I started my business, I had to be very active in reaching out to potential clients.

When asked if she believes in New Year’s resolutions, Bakare replied, “It was then. But now I consider every day a “new year”. When I wake up, I thank God for a new day and ask for new blessings. If there is anything I would do differently this year, it would be make more money and think about new businesses and strategies. I just want to be myself and try new things.

Reacting to the recently brokered truce between the actresses and former close friends – Iyabo Ojo and Faithia Williams – Bakare said it was a good development. She said, “I feel good. I like to see two people come together and solve their problems. I am a very peaceful person. I like the fact that they settled their fight. Hope we can all forgive and forget. I hope we can all forget the past. We don’t need to put yesterday’s cloud on today’s sun. We must let love and peace reign. Life is too short to keep the wickedness. I feel so good about their reconciliation.
