Wondering where to meet Santa Claus this year? Looking for an event bathed in magic and sparks? So look no further.

After last year, we all want a very special Christmas for 2021, so we’ve rounded up some of the best party events in the region. Optional fancy Christmas jumpers.

Santa Claus in Solomon Islands

Salomons Estate in Tunbridge Wells offers you not one, but three (!) Opportunities to meet Santa this year.

Meet the elves and the great man himself in the cozy cave. Your experience includes Christmas coloring, Christmas treasure trail, gingerbread decorating, and hot chocolate.

When: December 19, 20, 21, 22, 23

Dine with Santa on Sunday, December 12 – a three-course Sunday roast suitable for the whole family while Santa is on the move to hear all your Christmas stories and wish lists.

Breakfast with Santa on Friday, December 24 – enjoy a festive family experience as Santa and his elves host a festive breakfast.


Hever Castle and Gardens

A Visit to Santa Claus is sold out at Hever, Nevertheless you can still experience the festivities in their garden and feel joyful. Start your experience on the Pinocchio Christmas Trail, enjoy a ride through the fairgrounds, browse the Christmas shops, meet the (cute!) Huskies and, after 4pm, follow the magical Christmas Lights Trail.

Cranbrook Christmas Market

Filled with stalls selling gifts, food and goodies, head to Cranbrook and immerse yourself in the festive spirit of their annual Christmas market.

When: December 10, 5-8 p.m.


Gulliver’s game cafe

Have breakfast with Santa at Cranbrook’s cutest cafe – Gulliver’s. There will be gifts for the kids, a visit from the great man and a magical story hour with the elves.

The hop farm

Santa is back at The Hop Farm on select dates in December. Treat the kids and meet Santa Claus up close and in person in his magical cave experience. This walking experience includes meeting Santa Claus, photo ops, Christmas gift, and entry to the family park / animal farm.

Christmas at Bedgebury Pinetum

Join Bedgebury, near Goudhurst, at the most wonderful time of year when over a million lights, sparkling reflections and seasonal sounds fill the air with festive fun.

Wealden Times Winter Fair

The South East’s biggest and most prestigious Christmas shopping event will return at The Hop Farm. With over 200 handpicked exhibitors spread across a heated tent village, there really is something for everyone. Visitors can enjoy luxury gifts for the whole family, exquisite Christmas decorations, vintage and contemporary housewares, fashion and jewelry boutiques, and a delicious selection of cold meats, cheeses, oils and even more.

SKATING – at Calverley Grounds

The outdoor ice rink is located in the beautiful grounds of Calverley, Tunbridge Wells and offers spectacular views of the beautifully lit park, creating a unique and special party experience for the whole family. There are two ice rinks, the smaller one dedicated to parents and toddlers during the day, but at night it turns into our own Bavarian curling rink – booking early is advisable as these sessions sell out quickly. Kids can even skate with Snow White, Captain America and Cinderella!

Sussex Country Gardener

A host of festive frivolities take place at SCG in December. Breakfast or afternoon tea with Santa, late night shopping events and a great value Christmas grotto. Their cave is filled with photo opportunities for you and your little elves, each child gets a Christmas Eve gift and reindeer food.
