Commenting on the appointment, Kasia Kieli, President and CEO of Discovery EMEA, said: “Last year has been unprecedented for us, filled with both challenges and moments of enormous pride and joy for what we have. accomplished. In difficult circumstances and a dynamic market environment, a clear communication strategy is crucial. Janek is one of the industry’s top public affairs experts. I am very happy that he is strengthening us in this key area. Given his experience – both as a journalist and as a communication expert – I am convinced that he will be a great support for us”.
Mróz added: “I am very happy to be able to work for TVN Discovery Group again. Last year was full of unprecedented situations in the media market. Never before has there been a search for a way to remove the license from TVN Discovery Group, and never before has there been an attempt to establish law directly targeting a broadcaster. But it was also the year of record audiences for TVN channels and the acceleration of the transformation of the television market. Working for TVN Discovery Group is always the guarantee of many challenges. I hope that with my experience I will contribute to the next success of the group”.
